If you've tried every diet under the sun and are asking whether this could really be the one that works for you, we'd say YES - it may very well be! Keep a food diary is a simple but powerful tool in helping you to lose weight.
From the great feedback we receive from members, we've always known that Nutracheck works, but a recent study in America has proved it.
Researchers at the Kaiser Permanente's Center for Health Research in Oregon tracked 1700 volunteers over six months. They found that when someone writes down everything they eat and drink, it encourages them to become stricter about their calorie control. The volunteers who kept a food diary dropped twice as much weight as those who did not.
Not content with that piece of impressive evidence for keeping a food diary, we decided to check our own Nutracheck statistics - only with a bigger group of people - 2,428 to be precise.
We discovered two important trends:

So in summary, if you keep your food diary honestly and stay within your daily calorie allowance consistently, the targets are set for effective weight loss. All in all, pretty compelling proof that this system works!
Jane Kilpatrick, Nutracheck member says "I saw an article at the weekend about how food diaries helped very effectively with weight loss - which I can testify! I have lost the weight I have been trying to lose for the best part of 15 years. I describe my food diary to people by saying that I feel that I have no 'Off' button of my own but the diary provides me with one! It is wonderful now to feel in control of food rather than food controlling me".
Did you know In a recent survey of 274 Nutracheck Members 2 in 3 people found our food diary approach more successful than their previous weight loss attempts!!
